Hooray for Breast Milk Baby

Breast milk baby – a lovely baby doll that mimics a suckling baby designed for little girls to hold and pretend they are breastfeeding. It even burps! The controversy surrounding this is crazy. What is wrong with people??

What a brilliant way for youngsters to become more comfortable with bodies in general. Not to mention that breast feeding is simply a bodily function. Women’s breasts provide milk when they are pregnant – how cool. For those people out there slamming this toy company, you need to find better things to do with your evil eye looking for thinsg to complain about. If you feel some concern that it is too much, that this doll is sexualizing little girls, I think you need to seriously look at the genesis of your thoughts. What is really going on for you???

You’re probably the type of person who wants us to airbrush nipples off of breasts in posters or cover the Venus de Milo’s breasts with a bra. Heaven forbid we see a body part that is a life giving force all around the world. Don’t even get me started on people who complain that women shouldn’t breast feed in public. Get over it already! Perhaps this doll will help the next generation not be so hung up and inhibited. They may pave the way for us to start spending our energy educating our youth about healthy sexuality instead of scaring them into ignorant experimentation.

Would you rather your child play with a ‘breast feeding baby’ or a ‘plastic semi-automatic handgun’?
