Hitachi Magic Wand Too Intense for Pre-Orgasmia

Hi Kim,

I am happy with my sex life except for the fact that I have never orgasmed. It seems to get too intense and then I make it stop. I’m wondering if you think if the Hitachi wand is the best place for me to start. I was reading the description and it sounds ideal. I haven’t used any other toys before. Thanks.

Hi Karen,

I’d say yes, it is great for women who have yet to orgasm. My question though is why you stop? Is it fear of urinating or letting go? That to me is more important to look at than a vibrator in my opinion. Can you tell me a little more? I’m happy to help.

Hi Kim,

I’ve thought about why I stop.  I find it so incredibly intense being stimulated to the point that I have to stop…so I guess it’s letting go that I can’t do.  The fear of urinating has crossed my mind a couple of times in the past but it’s rare.  I thought perhaps there was something physical or mental blocking me and that maybe I would never orgasm.  I thought maybe trying a vibrator would help me relax or feel differently enough to let it happen.

Thanks very much for asking.  Even though this is over e-mail, I feel you wanting to help me with this rather delicate situation.  I am very happy with my sex life and my husband but always wonder if orgasming could become a part of it.

Hi Karen,

I was thinking it might be something like that 🙂 I would actually recommend a session or two of coaching, before getting the vibrator. The Hitachi is really powerful and I’m not sure it is your answer. You are not alone in that a LOT of women experience difficulty with orgasm. If you’d like to set up a time for a brief chat, I’m happy to do that. By all means, you can purchase the Hitachi, but it is incredibly strong and may actually be too intense for you. Breaking free from whatever is holding you back may only take a few sessions and then you likely wouldn’t need a vibrator at all 🙂 Let me know what you think.
